What is the 175 Campaign?

2023 shall mark a hundred and seventy-five years since the College opened its doors for the first time on the 1st March 1848. The Trustees and the Warden have seen this anniversary as the opportune occasion to establish a permanent development campaign, commencing with the College Llanymddyfri - Ymgyrch 175 / Llandovery College - The 175 Campaign. The campaign seeks to raise over £4 million in order to improve the school’s infrastructure through a planned programme of capital projects, in addition, to the creation of new scholarships and bursaries that will allow us to accommodate our planned expansion in student numbers over the next five years, and beyond.
