Llandovery College Students Celebrate Superb GCSE Success
Llandovery College students have achieved excellent results in their GCSE examinations, continuing the wave of academic success following last week’s outstanding A Level and BTEC outcomes.
There is much to celebrate, with 27% of all GCSE entries awarded A-A grades* (compared to 28% in 2024), and a notable rise to 87% achieving A-C grades* (up from 78% in 2024). These results clearly reflect the dedication and hard work of students across all ability levels, who have earned the recognition they so richly deserve.
Warden of Llandovery College, Mr Dominic Findlay, commented:
“I am immensely proud of our students and staff who have worked tirelessly over the past few years to achieve such excellent results. These outcomes are particularly impressive given that our pupils join us from a non-selective entry background.”
“We now look forward to welcoming back our returning Year 11 students in September, along with many new faces, as they continue their educational journey into the Sixth Form.”
