Academic Scholarship Day – Saturday, 21st March 2026
Academic Scholarships at Llandovery College are available for pupils seeking entry into Years 7, 9 and 12 and are awarded to those who demonstrate outstanding academic attainment and/or strong underlying academic potential. Above all, these scholarships are a celebration of a pupil’s achievement and intellectual curiosity.
Scholars are expected to play a leading role in the academic and co-curricular life of the College, contributing positively to our vibrant learning community. In return, Llandovery College is committed to supporting each scholar in the continued pursuit of excellence within their studies. Where appropriate, we will also work closely with external agencies to further support a pupil’s academic development.
During our Academic Scholarship Day during the Lent Term, pupils will be assessed on their academic ability and interviewed by senior academic staff.
This event offers an excellent opportunity for prospective scholars to showcase their abilities in a supportive and stimulating environment.
